My gala

I has assisted so much parties in mi life, but just some has been with the excuse of celebrating. When you are celebrating one event or remember one important date is better than just celebrate, because you are so happier and the rest of the people too, like in New Year, your birthday or when you are closing all your subjects! When I finish school, the 21th December 2013 we did a big party in “Nos”, in a big event’s salon when all my classmates, their escorts and our parents. This party was important because it was a gala. We knew that we would this party since first grade! And our parents raised money for a long time. I use a dress that one friend of my family did for me, I was with some of my best friend Piero, mi mother and my dad.

When we arrive to the party we take us pictures and after we dinner (so much) and we drank wine, after the really party started. The teacher gave us slippers for everyone because our feet was very sore for the shoes (I was using a 13 centimeters shoes) , and with this little help we could dance all night! This party was with open bar, so I drink rum and we danced all type of music. We celebrate the finish of the process with our parents and our friends, so it was a big moment, finally we felt that we are not kids anymore. 

Social Geography

Hi everybody, today I’m going to talk about Social Geography, it is a type of geography that study critically the social process in relationship whit the territory and the historical context, so it is about  to understand themes like inequalities, poverty, wealth, and its implications on space. Our professor is Michael Lukas, he is a German geographer, and he teach us about the relationship that the historical process and the distribution of people on the space. The globalism and neoliberalism allowed that the private sector can to buy all the recourses, like the lands, so they have the control on the classification of society in social classes. I can understand that we are a society stratified because the State is weaker than the (very) rich people, so they can to control the space.

I like the critical posture that the geography takes in social themes, we read very interested think about the actual word so I like to learn thinks that are a reality and its happens. This would be better if we study the way of improve this social problem, we can to learn about the forms of planning a better city we can contributing to the social development, but I’m in the middle of this course so I hope that in the second part of the classes I can to learn more about how do something for the people, because some teachers just teach about the problems and not the solution. Intelligence is the ability to solve problems, so y hope be intelligence some day L

A place on Santiago: Renato Poblete park

I going to talk about a new park called Renato Poblete is a fluvial park because it´s on the hillside of Mapocho river in Quinta Normal, next to Los Reyes park. Renato Poblete was finished the last year, so today the park is in good conditions, clean, with a well-cared grass, little trees growing and you can find this park with not so much people in there (yet).

Is a perfect place to ride a bicycle, to go with your pets, the kids have a big place to run and the most important think of the park is the navigable river! . The Mapocho’s   water is deviates to a zone of the park and you will can boating and be in kayak! On center of Santiago! I think that is a big project and is very cool the form of enjoy the river (The most of Santiago people think that is a ugly river), y just hope that this project will not be to pollution the water.

I have visited the park just one time a few months ago, with my boyfriend, his brother and his girlfriend. We had a great time, is a big park and beautiful, without so much people, so it’s a quiet place, perfect to read a book or meditate. Is like a center of peace in the middle of the busy city.

We walk for the park, we take a break on the grass and laughed a lot. After we bought mote con huesillo, (you can find a lot types of delicious think in there)

Is a beautiful place, I hope that the people can take care this park for ever

Today I will talk about something that I would like (v) own…

I now no want no any(WE), I have the thing that(v) need, but if I have to select a thing, it would a technology object.  

 this would (v) a pc or phone cell that your battery no run down in 1 day or more, It using internet,  listen music and watch videos, also this product have to good connection to GPS, for it is in fall someplace (WE) and I no get lost. So with good signal and resolution in camera and good sound.

In the world still no exist this wonder, in the actuality the battery be(?) in existence, to use, 4 or 5 hour and this is bad because one(WE) not´s near of a socket full day, also in a travel no always have electricity. One is dependent of this object for your music, video, this are multifunctional.

Punto y Coma, the nightspot that I visit to food

Hi everybody! As you can imagine, I don’t be a person that visit restorant all time, I just to visit some restorant when my parents or my inlaws invite me. So, I don’t going to talk about some beautiful place or some place with delicious or special food, I going to talk a simple place that I visit some times, when I pass for that street, it is “Punto y Coma” a fast food restorant that is very known for the neighborhood because this place are open 24 ours of the day! So you can to imagine that I pass for this place most of the time before or after some party. This place is in Gran Avenida, relatively close of my house, so I have passed a long of time when my friends of San Miguel.

The Punto y Coma is a little local that sold hotdogs, burgers, fries, “as”, and more types of sandwich. You can to sit down and eat in the same place, but there is a no more than 10 people place, so you have to go prepared to maybe eat in the park or the street. I can’t remember the last time that I went, maybe it was on summer with my boyfriend and others friends. That is a clean place, the best fast food place that you would find on three in the morning, and also is very closer to the metro station, and is a illuminated places… you can protect yourself of any robberies too. 

I would like to meet Gustavo Cerati (in other life)

Dear Bloggers, today I going to talk about someone that I will never know because he is dead, Gustavo Cerati.

In all my life mi mom and my sister have heard his music since I can remember, so I know the songs of the old band of Gustavo, “Soda Stereo” and I enjoy so much this Argentinian rock. Gustavo Cerati on 2010 goes into a coma for a cerebral problem in Venezuela, just in the same time when I started to listen a lot of Argentinian rock.

I have liked meet Cerati because I admire the form that he saw the word, he had a great voice and the most important is that he was a big composer of rock and after a type of electro-pop-rock. I can identify with so much song on his, the compositions are intense and with content, they composed love song, party’s song, and a lot of different sounds and rhythms.

He always had big opportunities in the music world, I can’t see his like a humble person, he always going to be a rockstar, so I wouldn’t hope that he be a normal and natural person, I admire he because he won all the applauses of the word. I just want to see his singing and playing gitar, lamentably I will never do that, maybe in the sky! (Or hell, who knows).

He died the September 4^th,2014. After an intense come. He was among live and death for a long time, people in all word recited and hoped for this recuperation.

I’m very sorry for him, maybe he was already very tired, he has a hectic and beautiful life.

One field trip on Cajon del Maipo

Hi! This beautiful day I going to talk about a field trip that we did last year for Geology with the professor Rodrigo Rauld, we went to the Cajon del Maipo, with the aim to see the history under the big hills, rock strata, minerals, etc.

On Maipo we observed the beautiful development of strata with the time, the influence of climate change in this big history book that is the surface of the earth. We really learnt to identify the big changes that the big phenomena produce, leave beautiful colors and materials. We moved between mountains way up (to the east), identifying different natural phenomena  like the form that live the ice age on river and surface; the characteristics of rocks, like its mineral composition, the morphology after eruption of the volcano, etc.

In one moment we arrive to a high place, and the last week of this day rained all week! So we met the heights really snowy! While we were ascending, we were finding more and more snow! Even we could bury ourselves! On lunch time we play in the snow like one hour! We did a big war with all my classmate, professor and other teacher. I felt like a big kid! It was very funny and also I learn so much about one of my favorites place on metropolitan area: The beautiful Cajon del Maipo.

 

Geography Subject

Hi again everybody! Is very dificult to me choose one subject of my career becouse everyone is connected with the others subjects in some way. Therefore I going to talk about the good thing in the most interesting topic to me. My favourite teacher of carreer has been Alvaro Mauro in Climatology, I love his methodology but to understand atmospheric processes is not the most important to me a good Geographer, becouse he has not taught how its is aplicable.
In other way the subject closest to reality is Economic Geography, becouse professor Beatriz teaches about contemporary word and she gives you many lectures, so you can to understand  how the economy is working in the word, her class open your eyes to the real and hard word.
I'm only just second year, so I thing that the best subject are in fourth and fifth year, when I can take "environmental analisys", I hope in the future work in this area, Environmental is my favourite geographical topic, so I hope learn all the necesary about climate change, pollution, the impact of vegetables, etc.

My job

Good Morning everybody! So, as you know, I'm a lazy person haha, and I had have sporadic jobs, I sell makeup in "Avon" and others companies, I  took care kids, and I worked in Yogurt life, an icecream  stores.
But now I don have time to work becouse I'm studing, so maybe I will sell out chocolates, bread or something delicious on FAU or University's parties.
But when I finish my carreer I want to job in a Ecology proyect maybe with renewable energies or something relationship with save native vegetation, but that is going to happen in so long time, and before that I want to university pay me for to study! Maybe do a PhD, I really would love study for ever , you work never going to be a routine! Also, you grow every day.
With all my university degrees, I want to will job in a ecological proyect that I can see in the landscape, because if they are not in real life they dont exist! The correct spacial planning and a sustaintable development is very important in that moment of history, because in the future we can not repent us.

Free post: get out Monsanto!

Monsanto is a big transnational company of seeds. This seeds are genetically modified with the objetive to be the most productive cultive, but this mean that the product is not the best, they are not natural fruit and vegetables, they need a mount of pesticides and fertilizers, ruining productive capability of soils, because the soils are destroyed, also the overproduccion make that the soil lose its cualities, and maybe they cannot produce no more.
Regrettably, in all the word countries preffer the immediate prodution and not the naturals soils, so they preffer the overproduccion, making a monopoly of Monsanto, in this way, peasants lose their land working for Monsanto, and even if they dont want to work with theese seeds, the contamination in others place influences in all soils.
The seed on industry, must pass for processes of genetic modification, that processes releases so much toxic chemicals, so when a city or town are in the same area, people are sick, they have cancer, pregnant people lose their babys, people have breathing problems and othes strange diseases.
We need change this system that preffer the destrucction of the planet to get producction!

I have a big curiosity for meet all latinoamerica! because  I want to learn more about precolumbian cultures, the politic system, and the beautiful naturals places, In first place, i want to go to Perú and Bolivia, meet the other side of the history, and in andean civilizations they have a different perspective abaut the earth, the occidental cultures and they can learn so much things to me .
If I have to choose, I prefeer Peru, and I can meet Machu Pichu, and living the history!
I want to go this summer with my boyfriend, travel since Santiago stoping cars with the thumb, maybe we arrive to Ecuador! I really want to meet all latinamerica!

The Starry NIght, Van Gogh

I love susrealism, and Vicent Van Gogh is not the best susrealism ( he was a neo impressionism artist), bus one of the best contemporary artist in history, my favorite work of art is "The starry night", this work consist in a surrealism sky, with huge stars, mixing the space (stars and moon) with the move sky, that appears be wind or other movement.

I dont remember when was the first time I saw it, but this year I have tried to make something like this with crayons ("pastel" pencils), but is very difficult! , I admire the mix of colors and textures , specially the contrast between the stars (white and yellow) and the sky (blue and black), we could have so much interpretatioons of this work.

Personally, is my favorite art work of Van Gogh because it's susrrealism, and I love that more than other style, but in art you can not say if something is the best or the worst. (except with really bad artist!)

 He paint it in 1889, one year before his suicide.

Technology

Technology have been historically very awesome and in some times part of any historical revolution.
One of the best invention for me, was the telescope. It was invented in century XV, helping to do discoverys, like Jupiter's moons.
The telescope never stop to progress. Any year scientist get better this technology, maybe one day we know all the space! (or maybe not)

I never got one :( but I have some friends with a telescope, even my grandfather, but he never leave me use it.
I had seen the four satellites of Jupiter with my eyes! For me, this is better than internet, nuclear bomb, cellphones, or any stupid thing done for some men or women.

I love the space, so I love telescope because it to closer the solar sistem and stars to us! 

Mi favourite beach: Cavancha

I love Chile because we have a huge coast, we have to meet diverse tipes of beachs: bigs waves, diferents forms, dunas, sand with differents colors and sizes, etc. I know that in tropic coast the beach is awesome( or  everyone say it) but I don't envy it, becouse I knew the best beach for swim in Chile!
Iquique, in the first region, Tarapacá have the best beach in summer. You never have cold, the waves are calm, so you have tu swim everyday.
I visited Iquique last summer, and I going to the beach everyday! In summer, people  sell WATEVER YOU WHANT. Candies, food, fruit, games, ice-cream, Colombian food, Puerto Rico's food, food of Peru, Bolivia, etc, etc, etc.
You have tu swim at the morning, afternoon and at night. You never feel cold! Its a perfect city for me.

I like to learn to do....skate!

I would like to do thousands of activities: sport activities, adventures, to play musical instruments, but I'm very lazy! And I used my time in study and stay with people. I'm very sedentary people :(
When I was like 13 years old I tried to skate, but i´m abandoned it when i have a little accident.(you always have to wear a great shoes,helmet and sometimes kneepad) I was fear about use my skate tablet, but I love it! 
To learn to do somes triks are very difficult, I did never do one!
Skate is very fun, I have slided with "urbans" scooter, but I think that would be amaizing skate in mountain!, but this is a extreme sport!. I hope do that some day.

Today we have to write about a picture that we took. 2 years ago, i going to vacation to Horcon, I going to the beach for walk, because it's not the best sea to swim , the surf are huge!
Like 2 kilometers of the place of the picture, are the famous nudist beach "Playa Luna".
The sea dragged this log, and I always ask myself were it's from, because its not just a piece of three, its a piece of root! I loved the form that the nature moves the inmovable! . I love the way that it´s settled in grint, it's like the tree would have grown in this place, just in the middle of the beach.

My first class day

The first week on Geography it was just for have fun and to do parties, to met others mechones and met the faculty.
The next monday we started with the classes. We have Teledeteccion with teacher Pamela, and everyone said his name and noted where he/she lives in a map of Santiago. I dislike that course, i think that is not necesary for geography.
I already met some of my classmates, like Isaura. I was all day with his, and today is still my friend. 
I dont remember anymore about this day, but this week I met all my friends in parties of the university.
I really like the people that I met, and in my opinion, FAU is very nice and beautiful. 

Real Monster!

When i was a kid, I didn´t have Tv cable in my house, so I see "31 minutos", "Doraemon", "Arale", "Dragon Ball", etc. but when I visited kins with satelital tv, I saw in Nickelodeon Real Monster.
It's a animaded cartoon about a school of disgusting monster that have to learn to scare people in the city.
I love  the , are ridiculous, each character has a different stile and are very funny .

South of Chile

When I think in my best trips of my life, I just have to think in the south of the country. Since i have memory, I have visited south three times. first, when I was 17 in my "study tour" ; the last year my family and I visited  my aunt in Puerto Varas, and finish, this summer we visit Pucón with my family.

In my study tour, we met Pucón, Villarrica, Puerto Varas, Frutillar, Puerto Montt and Chiloé. I loved volcanos and the bigs lakes, we learn a lot about local history, and we made goods parties in the hotel in Puerto Varas. The only problem was long trips in buss, but with my classmates I enjoyed and laughed all the time. The last night we have a party in a catamaran, in villarrica lake.

In my second trip, last year, we visited to my ount Pili in his beautiful house in Puerto Varas, a day we rent a car, and went to trip around the Llanquihue lake, one of the biggest of Chile!, we visited beautifuls beachs, we boating on "Todos los Santos" lake, and ate the best cakes of the word in Frutillar (well, the best for me).

Finish, the last year, we get a beautiful house in the feets of the Villarrica lake, in a quiet place far of the city, we almost don't get out! the hause on lake was perfect, all my family was there. uncles, aunts, cousins and nephews.

South it's the most beautiful place that I know, and I am shure that its one of the best places in the word.

Hi bloggers, today i'm going to tell you about one of my favorite songs, it's "Te para tres" by Soda Stereo, band of argentinian rock, in my opinion, the best in rock of that country in century XX.
The song of the album Canción Animal (1990), written by Gustavo Cerati, is about his parents and the relationship with him.
I love this song, when I listen that song I have to took play again! I recommend all songs of this album.
